I am not in Kansas anymore... Thank goodness!!!

I arrived in St. Louis late last night. It was a rough day of driving from Denver. I would argue that the wrong adjective was chosen when deciding on the name "Great Plains."

I will include a more elaborate post when I have a decent internet connection that allows me to upload pictures. Look for it on Monday evening.

I agree whole-heartedly. I've never driven across Kansas, but I've crossed Nebraska several times and frankly? There's just no good way to describe 600 miles of flat.

I'm excited to see pics. Too bad Kansas is ugly. I bet Dorothy hated going home after being in the Emerald City. Ok, dumb joke.

Take pics of all your new furniture. I'm dying to see it all!

Jake -

The propane thing was seriously not a big deal. It just made for good blogging material. We actually commented that it was really nice that we didn't have power. The TV wasn't on all day, we didn't have to vacuum, mom loved that she had a good excuse to not do laundry, we didn't have to run the dishwasher. It honestly was a blessing. We all enjoyed just being with each other.

While your apology is appreciated, there is no need to feel bad about anything.

We love and miss you!
