Opinions?

I have found three houses here in Vegas that I really like. I welcome any opinions/advice anyone may have:

House 1
I love the rock feature and the cobbled walkway
Enter from front door into living room - kitchen/family room seen beyond
The main living space - kitchen/dining/family room

Hallway leading to bedrooms (master bedroom straight ahead)

Master bed/bath

Not much happening back here

House 2

Covered patio in back

This is the view from the back patio - AWESOME!

This is what is seen when first entering the house; the whole first floor is essentially one big room (kitchen, dining area, and family room) - see following two photos for the complete idea of the space

Just upstairs - walking into master bedroom

Master bed/bath

The view looking out of Master bedroom windows - SWEET!

Master bath

Looking out of the Master bed toward two additional

Back downstairs... leaving the house

House 3

I love this courtyard leading to the front door!

Just entering the house

The room to the right in the previous picture

I love the big windows in the master bedroom

Master bath

Hallway leading from master bedroom to two other rooms - the two bedrooms seen here are connected by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom in the far corner (a cool design)

I have lots of opinions. I really like the first one, like you said the rock cobble stone stuff and that it feels big and open and light (well they all do) I like the look from the front and that it is all one level. I like the fireplace as well.

Number two I really like, it is the most generic in front, but still looks nice, it seems to have a good floor plan and how can you beat that view? I like the kitchen with the black. The fireplace/mantle thing in that one is a bit weird, but I am a fan of fireplaces (not that you will use it much in Vegas)

I think I like the third mostly for it's curb appeal. The front is super cute (or whatever boy word you want to use). THe floor plan seems a little weird, but I like the big windows like you pointed out.

I don't know how much of an opinion you wanted, but I think I would go with #1 or #2. But like I said, I still really like the front of #3.

Final answer: I would go with #2, i think the view is what takes the cake and you are probably a lot like Trent that you would just change or fix whatever you didn't like about the house.

Sorry for the long opinion. Good luck! It is all so exciting (even though it's stressful) but I am so excited and happy for you!

I like #2 - you can't beat the view. Don't like the backyard in #1. #3 is the best from the front.

But I'd go with #2.

It is hard to tell with just pictures, but I have to say I love that in house #2 you have tile through out what looks to be most of the first floor. Also I love the views on #2. #3 seems like it is close to other houses. (House right outside the master bath)
I do love #1 with what looks like large ceilings. I have to say I am a fan of the big ceilings. It seems like there is so much more room. #2 seems to have a more up to date looking kitchen. Hard to tell from pictures, but those are my impressions. I have to say I am glad that Mom was able to make it down there with you. She helped me find our house in Logan that I still to this day LOVE. I am sure she is your good luck charm. Happy House Hunting!!!

Hmmm. There's some things I'd like to mix and match and create the perfect house! HA! But back in reality - I think House #2... and I think you like house #2 best also.;)

I'm not specialized on the architecture but the outside of the total package dosn't reveal itself in your photos. Is there space for the uses you may want for your garden? Outdoor living, childrens play equipment, etc?

Wait! Maybe you should just find one that is still under construction and sign a lease for it to be ready when you get there. That way you can do your own plumbing and electric work and guarantee that it is done right...after you've already moved in of course. It is probably essential that you have some sort of fast food restaurant close-by for those clean and inviting restrooms that they offer. I would hate for you to have to walk 15 minutes to find an open McDonald's at 2 am.
It looks like I might have to come visit Vegas sometime. Yes, I just invited myself

My reasons for number 2, still hold on to the fact that I can change my mind, is the nicer kitchen. It seems to have more room and more counter space, yeah I like a nice kitchen.

Also the back yard was another nice feature. Yeah, the other ones have a yard but my thing is if its a crappy back yard you are less likely to use it so it might as well not be there.

I agree with most of the above comments. I think number 2 has the best floor plan, kitchen, and view. Too bad the outside (front) of the house didn't look like house number one...

Can't wait to hear which one you pick!
